2014 JanFest News and Updates
• Final Information is now available for directors and chaperones. Click the links above for Final Information and the latest draft schedule.
• The first JanFest patch will be available for purchase for 4 weeks following the festival to any student who participates. Subsequent patches will have the same design but in different UGA colors. So a student who participates more than one year could stack patches on the sleeve of their band jacket. Students who participate all four years of high school could purchase all four unique patches. The patch is 2.5″ measured diagonally. Cost is $10 plus tax and shipping. The basic design is below.
A previous announcement regarding the use of proceeds stated that this sale would benefit a new award for schools. This is undergoing further legal and administrative review. We will make a further announcement regarding the use of proceeds at an appropriate time.
• Our friends at UGA Athletics are offering JanFest participants $5 admission to Sunday’s Women’s Basketball Game. Click here for a coupon to be redeemed at the Coliseum ticket booth.
10.25.2013 – Postcards containing each school’s unique registration code are being mailed now. An email will be sent to directors early next week containing this information. The JanFest registration brochure is now available. Registration will begin on November 4th and will end on November 29th.
