Concert Bands

The University Band Program offers three Concert Band experiences in addition to the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Symphonic Band. The Concert Bands are each equal in their performance level and open to all students without audition. The ensebles serve as opportunities for all individuals, regardless of expertise, to further their musical experiences during the Fall and Spring Semesters. During the Fall Semester, two concert band courses are offered placing emphasis on reading experiences in a wide variety of band literature. In the Spring Semester, the third ensemble is added and emphasis is shifted to concentrating on performance. To complete this performance emphasis, the Concert Bands multiple concerts are presented at the University's Performing Arts Center during the semester.
